Please join us in the FLY THE FLAG campaign.

On Thursday, September 11th, 2010, fly your American flag outside your home, apartment, office, or store. Every individual should make it a priority to show their spirit on this ninth anniversary of one our country's worst tragedies. We do this in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11and those who today are fighting abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism.

Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times. Our American flag is the fabric of our country.

Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Thank you for your participation.

Oakhurst Garage Sale

To register for this years garage sale (Oct. 9th) please email oakhurst@aqceed.com with your name, address and phone #. Last year we had over 200 homes register...there is no cost! The benefit is that your residence will be highlighted on an Oakhurst map given to prospective buyers the morning of the sale.

Additional security will be in Oakhurst on October 9th, but expect traffic to be heavy! If you want more information please go to oakhurstgaragesale.blogspot.com

Tutoring available

Oakhurst resident and teacher Mary Gogo is available to tutor students. She teaches in the Houston area and is certified to teach social studies 8-12 grade. If interested please contact Mary at lehmann.teach@gmail.com
